Owner Spotlight: Bob Beach

I’ve been in the mortgage business for over twenty-five years. I’ve worked for many years as a Bank Manager, mobile mortgage sales force leader and for ten years now as a Mortgage Broker/Owner.

While leading a large mortgage division at one of the ‘big five’ banks, I saw the need for clients to have access to a more diverse and dynamic product line up. A bank can only be a one size fits all solution, and that doesn’t work in today’s complex financial world. So I opened my brokerage to offer more to my clients.

For me, helping clients get the right mortgage at a great rate is essential. I believe in making the process as stress-free as I can because, over the past couple of years, I have noticed that mortgages have become more complicated. Government rules like Bill 20 have made it difficult for mortgage clients to navigate the search themselves. So I find it immensely rewarding when I can arrange the right mortgage and see the client’s dream of home ownership come true.

As an individual, what sets me apart from the others is that I keep clients informed throughout the process. I believe in being transparent and giving good and bad news as quickly as I can, as well as offering solutions and alternative choices and setting realistic expectations.

I attribute my success to pure experience. I’ve arranged over 10,000 mortgages in my long career. I see every client in person and try to understand what their goals are right in the beginning. Being referred is the biggest compliment I could receive, and it’s the basis of our on-going success. I am grateful for every client I meet.

Recently, I helped a single mom who was declined by her own bank. But we were able to get a mortgage for her allowing her to buy a home near her workplace and her children’s school. I am always eager to help people achieve their dreams.
